INSPIRED BY SPORTS AND TECHNOLOGY: STUDENTS VISITED THE “KAZAKHSTAN” COMPLEX
Thirty students from grades 9–11 of School No. 117 took part in a career guidance tour held at the “Kazakhstan” Athletics Sports Complex. During the visit, the students learned how a modern sports facility operates, explored its infrastructure, and discovered professions related to sports and engineering. The event was organized as part of the “Career Guidance Tours” project, implemented within the Year of Skilled Professions declared by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025.
The staff of the complex conducted a tour through the halls, showed the technical rooms and the equipment used for competitions and training, and explained the technologies that ensure the uninterrupted operation of the sports facility. Special attention was given to the roles of various specialists — from coaches and engineers to technical staff and event organizers.
The students had the opportunity to ask questions, receive valuable advice, and be inspired by real-life examples of professional experience.
Such meetings help students better understand the requirements of modern professions and make an informed choice about their future careers, especially in promising fields such as sports and engineering.
