On August 18–19, 2025, Astana will host a major sporting event — the “Summer Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup for the Prizes of Assel Mustafina” at the arena of the Qazaqstan Athletics Sports Complex.

The event is organized by the Alem Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy in cooperation with the Astana Gymnastics Federation. It is intended to become a traditional annual tournament aimed at developing and promoting rhythmic gymnastics in Kazakhstan.

The competition will bring together about 400 athletes of junior and senior categories. Applications have been submitted by gymnasts from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Germany, as well as numerous representatives of sports schools and clubs from all regions of Kazakhstan.

Winners and prizeholders will receive commemorative gifts, medals, and certificates, while the absolute champions in each age category will be awarded special cups.

This tournament will be an important milestone in the development of rhythmic gymnastics in Kazakhstan, the strengthening of international sporting ties, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among the younger generation.
