On April 22, 2025, a specialized lecture dedicated to issues of antiterrorist security of vulnerable facilities was held at the "Qazaqstan" Athletics Sports Complex in Astana. The event was attended by employees of the national velodrome "Saryarka" and the "Qazaqstan" Sports Complex.

During the lecture, key aspects of ensuring the security of facilities exposed to terrorist threats were discussed in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Particular attention was paid to the following issues:

Access control and engineering/technical reinforcement: establishing strict access control and reinforcing facilities to prevent unauthorized entry.
Detection of signs of terrorist act preparation: conducting situational monitoring and preventing extremism among staff.
Prevention of attempted terrorist acts: organizing facility security and fostering a culture of safety among employees.
Minimization and elimination of the consequences of terrorist threats: developing response algorithms and training personnel for emergency situations.

This event represents an important step in enhancing the antiterrorist security level of sports facilities, especially in the context of preparation for international competitions. Employees of the "Qazaqstan" Sports Complex and the "Saryarka" Velodrome gained the necessary knowledge and skills for effective response in the event of a terrorist threat.

The organization of such training events contributes to strengthening security and increasing readiness for emergency situations, which is a priority for all governmental and sports institutions.
